A complete education, lifecycle, campaign, audience and deliverability rebuild that helped Klaviyo become a meaningful part of the customer journey.
Crown Naturale had already proved that people wanted the products. The commercial gap appeared after acquisition: customers needed more education, automated support and relevant reasons to return.
Crown Naturale serves customers with hair-care products built around ingredients, routines and consistent use. That makes education and expectation-setting part of the customer experience, not optional extras.
The store could generate the first order, but Klaviyo was barely participating in the relationship. When the backend contributes little, acquisition has to keep doing almost all of the work.
The Apr-Jun dashboard showed $509.80 in attributed revenue, with $0 from campaigns in the displayed view.
The engagement started with customer education, lifecycle structure, campaign planning and audience management.
The account moved from isolated sends toward one system supporting the customer after acquisition.
The six-month view displayed $359,190 in Klaviyo-attributed conversions.
What it needed was a backend system capable of educating customers, continuing the relationship and supporting acquisition after the first conversion. Kaysun began working with Crown Naturale in May 2024 and rebuilt that system around customer context, lifecycle behavior, campaign purpose and list health.
From April 1 through June 30, 2024, Crown Naturale generated $894,388.76 in total store revenue. During that same dashboard period, Klaviyo showed only $509.80 in attributed revenue.
That represented just 0.06% of total revenue in the displayed view. Campaigns showed $0.00. Flows showed $509.80.
The opportunity was not hard to see. Crown Naturale did not need proof that people wanted the products. It needed a better system for turning the attention it was already generating into an ongoing customer relationship.

Important context: Kaysun began working with Crown Naturale in May 2024. April-June is presented as a starting-point quarter, not a clean pre-Kaysun “before” period.
A customer discovering the brand, clicking an ad and buying once does not automatically create a valuable customer. After the first interaction, the brand still has to answer questions like: Why should I trust this product? How does it work? How should I use it? How long should I give it? What should I expect? Why should I come back?
Crown Naturale's backend needed to do more of that work. Without enough education and expectation-setting, customers were left with more uncertainty than necessary. That created more pressure on support, more room for disappointment, and a business that still depended heavily on acquiring the next customer.
The goal was not automation for automation's sake. The work connected customer education, lifecycle flows, campaigns, audience structure and deliverability around one customer relationship.
Explain the product, the problem it is designed to solve, how ingredients fit into the story, what customers can realistically expect, and why consistent use matters. The goal was to reduce uncertainty before it became hesitation, disappointment or a support ticket.
Build automated journeys around customer behavior so important moments do not disappear between campaigns. The objective was to make Klaviyo support the customer journey continuously rather than only when the team manually sent an email.
Move beyond disconnected promotions. Campaigns could rotate between product education, problem awareness, customer proof, offers, seasonal opportunities and engagement campaigns instead of repeating the same discount with a different subject line.
A new prospect, a first-time buyer, a repeat customer and an inactive subscriber are not in the same situation. The audience needed structure so the growing list could be treated more intelligently.
A retention engine cannot work if customers cannot reliably receive the emails. Bounce, spam, unsubscribe behavior and list quality became operating metrics rather than technical footnotes.
Education, campaigns, automation, audience management and deliverability were not treated as separate projects. They were built to support the same goal: help acquisition create more value after the first conversion.
The dashboards show the commercial output. The creative shows how the strategy actually reached the customer.

These reporting windows overlap, so they should not be added together. They show the visible progression of the account as the backend matured.

From July 1 through December 31, 2024, the account displayed $359,190.98 in Klaviyo-attributed conversions.
Of that, $215,825.47 was attributed to automated flows, representing about 60%. Another $143,365.51 was attributed to campaigns, representing about 40%.

The July campaign dashboard displays 72,955 total campaign recipients, a 33.66% open rate, a 1.72% click rate and a 0.11% placed-order rate.
Across the Jul-Dec campaign-performance view, the account displays 2,283,815 total campaign recipients, a 41.80% open rate, a 1.05% click rate and a 0.06% placed-order rate.
Important: 2.28M recipients is send-volume exposure shown by Klaviyo, not 2.28M unique customers.

The Subscriber Growth dashboard shows 56,586 total members, along with 64,309 opt-ins and 9,885 suppressions in the displayed view.
As the audience expanded, list management became more important, not less. More subscribers create more opportunity, but also more inactive contacts, more need for segmentation and more risk if deliverability is ignored.
The August deliverability view shows a 0.53% bounce rate, a 0.09% spam rate and a 0.43% unsubscribe rate, with 210,293 recipients displayed in that view.

Crown Naturale had already demonstrated that it could create demand. The retention opportunity was hiding behind that success.
When the backend barely contributes, every new order puts pressure back on acquisition to find another customer. When the backend becomes stronger, acquisition has support. Customers receive more education. Automated journeys continue working between campaigns. Campaigns have more purpose. And email begins contributing meaningfully to revenue instead of sitting beside the business as another marketing tool.
Apr-Jun 2024 overlaps the beginning of Kaysun's May engagement. It is described as a starting-point quarter, not a clean pre-Kaysun baseline.
Revenue shown is Klaviyo-attributed conversion revenue under the account's configured attribution settings. It does not prove that one email independently caused every attributed dollar.
Jul-Sep, Aug-Oct and Sep-Nov overlap. They demonstrate progression and must not be added together.
Customer education and expectation-setting were part of the strategy, but the supplied screenshots do not quantify a separate reduction in returns or support tickets, so none is claimed.
You may already have customers entering the business. The question is what happens after they arrive. We'll identify one meaningful retention leak and show you the two areas we'd investigate first.
Attribution note: Revenue figures come from supplied Klaviyo dashboards and follow the account's configured attribution settings. Total store revenue is business context and is not represented as revenue created exclusively by Kaysun.
Crown Naturale already knew how to acquire customers. The problem was what happened after they arrived. The brand had demand, but email was barely participating in the customer journey. Customers needed more education, the backend needed stronger automated journeys, campaigns needed structure, and the growing audience needed to be managed without damaging deliverability.
